Description
SAE Products External Retaining Ring Applicators are designed to install external inch and metric radial retaining rings. Radial retaining rings are often referred to as “C” or “E” rings. To install slide the retaining ring in between the jaws of the tool and push the ring onto a shaft. Remove rings by pulling them off the shaft. Used with retaining ring dispensers, applicators facilitate the assembly and removal process quickly and correctly. Applicators blades are made of carbon, heat-treated steel for strength.
